Location info
Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel offers ideal wheelchair access and clean, well-appointed rooms with a kitchen and nice bathroom. The service is exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff going above and beyond. The location is convenient, close to amenities but with some character concerns. The dining experience is not specified. Overall, a recommended stay with a few location considerations.
I found this hotel to be a centrally located, modern, and clean accommodation with trams running every few minutes into the city. It had everything you needed, pots, pans, etc. The proximity to hospitals, Melbourne Zoo, and easy access to trams and other transportation made it very convenient. The peaceful side street location and fully appointed rooms make for a pleasant stay.
The hotel rooms were so clean and nicely set out, recommended to us, felt cozy and secure, and fitted with everything you could possibly need. However, being across the road from housing commission flats and having some dodgy characters hanging about offering drugs could be a concern. The location was quite a hike from any facilities, although it's close to a tram stop, so its suitability would really depend on your requirements and what you want to do in Melbourne.
